Glasgow!
First up, Abigail Percy Glasgow based Jeweller. Her stunning jewellery is what I have been looking years for but have never found. Her work is organic, elegant, linear, feminine, modern, traditional......perfect! I will be saving to treat myself to some of her beautiful earrings (see bleow).
Tonight I stopped by a recently opened knitting boutique called K1 Yarns and spoke with the charming and super friendly owner Katharine. This place was so beautifully displayed with all the yarns in white tin buckets hanging on the wall (picture below). Amazing! The variety of stock was so varied I was overwhelmed by the choice. K1 Yarns also sell magazines and yarn that are hard to find in UK, like these beautiful wooden Brittany knitting needles made in the US. I feel very strongly about supporting independent and local businesses and I really wish Katharine well with her business. I will definitely be doing my knitting shopping from there alone from now on.
Wow natalie...thanks so much :) very glad to hear you like them, the way you descibe my work is everything I could hope it to be!...
I havn't been into K1 Yarns yet..but I saw it via another glasgow girls site http://www.linseyslovelycakes.com/linseys2/..who makes cakes 4 heart buchanan and the like..it looks amazing! i like the idea of their knitting classes (as i havn't since i was a kid), and their big knits out in glasgow!! The plail displays are wonderful.. :)

Hi natalie-
I, too, adore abigail's work. She's the sweetest. The little white pails are an ingenious way to store yarn. So wonderful...have enjoyed seeing your drawings. Keep em coming.
take care
Shari
