...slowly - some new work
Trying to work on different mediums, this time on tiny stretched canvas. Really liked working on gesso painted canvas and even like the texture of the canvas showing through the watercolour. I also love to work really small scale.
I want to try to work in really large scale using the brush to recreate oversized lines; translating the variance in line that I get by using a nib pen.......but then I end up working on a 4" x 4" tiny canvas?!
oh natalie... large would be magnificent... although small has a different sense of charm...
i'm wondering how'd they'd look on raw canvas - or colored gesso [slight - not intesne] or black gesso [ooohhhh]

just recently came across your great blog and wonderful work such as this, which is just beautiful. . .i always think of watercolors on watercolor paper, but i love the texture of the canvas!
